What is Easter without an Easter Egg hunt or two? And of course again this year Cape Town has a few Easter Egg Hunt events lined up that offer all the things you would want to see from an Easter celebration, and more.

During each hunt, the children are given the chance to tap into their investigative sides and seek out some tasty Easter treats. Parents can also get their share of fun, with these egg hunt activities offering various opportunities for enjoyment and relaxation whilst the kids sniff out their sweet treats.

Benguela Cove: An adventure park Easter egg hunt

Gather the family for an unforgettable day at Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate. This Easter, let the kids embark on an exhilarating Easter Egg Hunt across Benguela Cove’s adventure park, designed to delight and surprise with every step. Each child will receive an Easter Egg Hunt Trail Map and a special prize at the journey’s end.

Easter Wonderland scavenger hunt: Hop your way through an Easter adventure

The Werf farm is hosting an Easter scavenger hunt for the kids to enjoy. Children need to use their brains to solve a number of different clues as they complete their hunt. Using a map, the little adventurers must gather five clues before exchanging them for an Easter surprise.

While the children hunt, the parents can relax with wines to be enjoyed at various tasting stations along the route. The hunt is best suited to children aged 3-12.

Bugz Play Park Easter egg hunt: Uncover hidden Easter treats in the park

Secure a spot for the ultimate park Easter egg hunt by booking a timeslot and an age category. Categories are separated between four age groups: 1 and 2 years, 2-5 years, 6-8 years, and 9-12 years of age. There are three separate time slots to choose from.

Though participants in the hunt are expected to pre-book before arrival, they will still be required to pay additional park entrance fees upon arrival. This will enable entry for everyone, including the parents who can enjoy the shows and artists as they roam the park during the course of the day whilst the children are on their hunt.

Spots are as limited so get cracking and reserve your slot while there is still availability. Tickets will not be sold on the day.

Beach Club Easter Egg Dig: Sniff out hidden Easter eggs in just one minute

Children aged 1- 12 are invited to collect a Beach Club Pass when spending R200 or more at any store located at Willowbridge Shopping Centre. Beach Club Pass holders may grab a bucket before heading to the Willow Beach to search for Easter eggs hidden beneath the sand. Children have one minute to collect Easter eggs.

Presentation of a receipt received between the 23rd and 31st of March account for one entry. To enter multiple times, a different receipt proving that you have spent R200 or more needs to be presented. VIP Parking Card Holders receive complimentary entry.

Each child may collect a maximum of 10 eggs, with a prize hidden in each of them. Once done, the entire family can continue to enjoy a day at the mall or take the kids to the various free play areas where they can continue to release their energy.

Cabo Beach Club: Easter Sunday extravaganza and egg hunt

Indulge in some Easter fun at the scenic Cabo Beach Club. Spend the day overlooking the beautiful beachy waters and enjoy a meal, a drink, and some entertainment for the whole family, organised by the beach club.

The highlight of the extravaganza is the children’s Easter egg hunt, which makes for a fun activity for the young ones to participate in before they get to relish the Easter treats they manage to find.

Cost: R100 per child, book via Dineplan.
