The difficulty of the Indianapolis Colts’ 2024 schedule is determined by just more than who their opponents are. Over the course of a long NFL season, other important aspects that can create challenges include the amount of total travel the team has, along with whether or not there are any extended road trips, and when the bye week falls.
In regards to the bye week, the Colts have a long wait for that one, with it not taking place until Week 14. The Colts also do not have any Thursday night games on the schedule either, so there won’t be any extended breaks through their first 13 games of the season.
There are also two instances where they have back-to-back road games, and they are separated by only one home game–meaning there is a five game stretch where the Colts are on the road for four of those weeks.
From a travel perspective, however, the Colts have one of the more friendly schedules in that aspect, traveling the third-fewest amount of miles this season. Here is a look at how many air miles the Colts will be traveling in 2024 and how that stacks up to the rest of the NFL.
