State Marching Band Finals (SMBF)
We will get a preliminary schedule for our SMBF performance sometime this week. We selected 10/29 at Hilliard Bradley HS as our preferred date. Should we not receive our requested date, our options are 10/30 (Sunday) in Dayton or 11/5 in Medina.
Weather
As the weather (finally!) begins to cool, please be sure to dress appropriately for practices and performances. We encourage you to wear warmth layers underneath your uniform. This could be thermals, athletic warm ups etc. A reminder that warmth layers must be tighter fitting (no jeans or baggy sweatpants) and cannot hang out below your uniform pants . We should not be able to see your clothes underneath your uniform!
Tall black socks are a requirement to perform at games and competitions. No jewelry in uniform.
Friendly reminder, the bus also gets cold on late or long trips. It's a good idea to bring a jacket or sweatshirt on the bus, even if you're not cold, so that you're comfortable on the ride.

Student Belongings
We are having significant issues with students leaving items in the music wing. As a reminder:
Your uniform, garment bag, and hat should be labeled with your name. Please use a small piece of tape on the tag to identify your uniform. You should also have the exact jacket number and bib number written down. If your uniform is lost or damaged, you are responsible for the cost of replacement.
All student belongings should go home on Saturday after the competition. You may leave your uniform hanging on the racks, but hat boxes must go home after games or competitions.
There has been a significant amount of trash and half eaten food (ex: the carcass of a rotisserie chicken, half eaten chicken wings, soda spilled everywhere, etc.) left in E3. As a reminder, there should be no food in E3. Food left in E3 will be discarded.
The lost and found is ever expanding, please check for your items!

One of our biggest fundraisers of the year is coming up quick! The Fund Drive is an event where members from all three high schools go out in the community to solicit donations for the music programs. Students are assigned to groups of four and parents drive these groups along specific routes. This event is only a 3 hour commitment and is one time only — we need your help!
Click here to sign up! We are in need of as many drivers as possible!
